Clean Touch has collaborated with rehabilitation centers in order to solve the problems in the community. We are looking to form networks and affiliations with other organizations that share the same vision as us in community development and transformation.
We have formed peer support groups, teenage clubs, victim empowerment initiatives and advocacy. Clean Touch has facilitated workshops, held campaigns and provided with school uniform clothing items and dignity packs for our orphans and the vulnerable.
We are always monitoring and evaluating what we do and sending reports to our all stakeholders involved. We have a strong team of Community Care workers, Coordinators, and Social Auxilary worker to supervise and report all activities in the organization.
Our efforts are aimed at educating the community through awareness campaigns to the public. The door to door campaigns have been identified at the strategic venues such as Youth Centres, Community Halls, Parks, Churches and Malls as this will enable us to reach all targeted groups.
Training and skills development are provided to the youth and women to implement an intervention strategy that develops a mindset of self-sustenance and independence in households. We offer assistance in establishment and registering of their own businesses and co-operatives.
Income is generated for beneficiaries and the organization through but not limited to brick making, painting and gardening. Jobs created help sustain beneficial families and the organization. Clean Touch has sustainability strategies in place so as to reduce donor dependency.
